I want to share my recent experience purchasing a property on the island. For background, it had been approximately 25 years since I last bought a house. Needless to say, there have been many changes I was unaware of in terms of regulations and residential building practices. Fortunately for me, my random pick of a buyer's agent turned out to be Sue Sabo.

Sue guided me every step of the way. Her knowledge of roofing, plumbing and electrical construction was impressive and undoubtedly protected me from many future problems. There were more than a few times when I got excited about a property, and Sue would calmly walk me back from the buying ledge, explaining the potential downsides, whether they were construction-related, permitting issues, or location-related.

After several offers made and subsequent disappointments, we finally found the perfect property. Sue coached me through the purchasing process, protecting my interests at every step. 

I'll stop with this; I was excited about buying a property, but less so about the house-hunting process. It's a lot of work! However, shortly after meeting Sue, I knew I was in excellent hands and the heavy lifting required to buy a property didn't seem quite as heavy.
